Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance. You will be proficient in diagnosing and repairing all Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax engines in pickup truck applications like Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet/GMC.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle's diesel issues, including electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic problems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Familar with IDS, Witech, GDS2 softwares.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors about repairs and services needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an automotive technology program preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a diesel technician working on Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Familiar with Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax engines.
- ASE certifications a plus
