Outpatient setting
No inpatient responsibilities Compensation $183k+ annually
Compensation determined based on experience and licensure in accordance with California pay transparency standards
Position Overview Provide outpatient podiatric care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and minor procedures within scope. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat foot, ankle, and lower-leg conditions
- Perform physical exams and review patient histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, labs)
- Prescribe orthotics, medications, and treatment plans
- Educate patients on foot care and disease prevention
- Refer patients to specialists when needed
- Collaborate with providers and support staff
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Active California podiatry license
- Current DEA registration
- CPR certification
