It’s 7:30 a.m. in Sacramento, CA (ZIP: 95828). You open the build packet, trace the circuit path on the schematic, lay out your tools, and start bringing an electrical system to life. By mid-morning you’ve wired a panel to spec, verified connections against drawings, and logged your checks. After lunch, a teammate flags a discrepancy—you collaborate, troubleshoot, and resolve it safely and quickly. Before you leave, your station is spotless, your documentation complete, and your product passes quality inspection.

Your Impact

• Build and wire electrical components, subassemblies, and systems in line with engineering drawings and schematics.
• Verify workmanship and perform in-process quality checks that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Work efficiently with hand and power tools to complete assemblies on time.
• Partner with peers to diagnose and correct assembly issues.
• Keep your workstation orderly to promote safety, flow, and efficiency.
• Record build steps, note variances, and escalate any defects or nonconformances.
• Continuously upskill by participating in training on new methods, tools, and technologies.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics-related certification is a plus.
• Hands-on background in electrical assembly or a closely related trade preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to instructions and specs.
• Facility with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication and a positive, solutions-first mindset.
• Curiosity and adaptability to new processes and technologies.
