Direct Counsel is seeking a Mandarin-Speaking Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join a leading global law firm and its highly regarded Business Litigation practice.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have substantial commercial litigation experience at a leading law firm and native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation matters while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and develop legal strategies for complex disputes.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop effective arguments.
- Assist with all phases of litigation, from case development through resolution.
- Manage multiple sophisticated matters and competing deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas.
- Exercise sound judgment and maintain consistently high-quality work product.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of substantive commercial litigation experience at a leading law firm.
- Native or near-native fluency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters.
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
- Excellent attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice, or eligibility for admission, in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000–$420,000 annually, depending on geographic location, applicable experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
