Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Backstage Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment in Sunnyvale, California.

Responsibilities

\n

\n

The SLP will provide speech and language services to students in accordance with IEPs and district requirements. Responsibilities may include:

\n

\n
• Conduct speech and language assessments

\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

\n

• Provide direct individual and group therapy

\n

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

\n

• Develop goals, progress reports, and required special education documentation

\n

• Monitor student progress and adjust services as appropriate

\n

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff

\n

• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation

\n

• Complete evaluations, reports, and other required records within established timelines

\n

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license

\n

• Appropriate California school credential/authorization as required

\n

• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred

\n

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

\n

• Strong knowledge of IEPs and special education procedures

\n

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

\n

\n
