We are looking for an Immigration Staff Attorney to provide high-quality legal representation and guidance to immigrant community members in the North Bay area.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver immigration legal services to underserved community members through direct representation, case strategy, and client advocacy.
• Interview clients, assess case facts, and perform legal research to develop sound immigration case recommendations and filings.
• Provide community-based legal education, consultations, and brief service support through outreach clinics, intake events, and off-site service locations, including regular weekly coverage at a partner community organization.
• Maintain accurate case and program records to satisfy reporting obligations, ethical standards, outcome tracking, and organizational funding needs.
• Contribute to additional projects that support the growth and long-term success of the organization’s immigration legal services program.
- 0-2 years of immigration law experience. Open to candidates that are recently licensed and have relevant clerkship experience.
- Active membership in good standing with a State Bar; California Bar admission is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and to serving historically underserved populations, including immigrants and other vulnerable community members.
- Spanish fluency is strongly preferred, but not required.
