We are looking for a dependable and personable Event Assistant to join our team.
In this entry-level position, you will help support community events and outreach activities on behalf of nonprofit organizations. You’ll interact with event attendees, provide information, assist with event setup and organization, and help ensure each event runs smoothly.
No previous event experience is required. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, organization, and breakdown
- Welcome and assist event attendees
- Provide information about nonprofit organizations and community programs
- Answer questions and communicate information clearly
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming event environment
- Support team members with event activities and daily tasks
- Represent nonprofit organizations in a professional and respectful manner
- Attend scheduled training and team meetings
- Follow event procedures and instructions

Previous experience is not required.
Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, events, fundraising, promotions, or community outreach is helpful but not necessary.

Work Environment
This is an in-person, event-based position. Events may take place at community venues, public spaces, and other local event locations.
