Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Blue 3D Full Arch Studio LLC is seeking a highly skilled and independent Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our mobile clinical team. In this unique role, you will manage your own schedule based on client appointments, traveling to various partner locations to assist with and oversee the installation of full-arch prostheses.
This is a dynamic, field-based salary position ideal for an experienced RDA who excels in implant and prosthesis workflows, enjoys autonomy, and has a deep understanding of dental terminology and anatomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside Assistance: Coordinate and support chairside dental procedures for full arch cases from start to finish, and assist with full arch implant procedures, restorations, and treatment planning.
- Impressions & Imaging: Take and process digital impressions, scans, and radiographs for full arch cases, as well as perform traditional pickup impressions and operate Intra Oral Scanners (IOS).
- Extended Functions: Handle extended function duties, specifically the installation and management of Full Arches.
- Patient Care & Education: Educate and guide patients through full arch treatment processes and post-operative care.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with dental lab technicians and clinicians to ensure accurate case documentation and delivery.
- Logistics & Delivery: Safely transport, pick up, and deliver temporaries and final prostheses to designated partner clinics and labs.
- Compliance & Sterilization: Maintain rigorous sterilization protocols and ensure full compliance with OSHA and infection control standards.
- Case Administration: Manage and organize case records, lab prescriptions, and patient documentation.
- Schedule Management: Autonomously manage and set up your daily schedule based on incoming appointments and studio needs (hours will vary).
- Mobile Operations: Travel continuously between partner sites using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensure: Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Clinical Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience with pickup impressions, implants, and prostheses. Experience with full arch implant cases, All-on-4, or similar implant-supported restorations is preferred.
- Digital Proficiency: Proficiency with digital scanning technology (e.g., iTero, 3Shape, or similar).
- Extended Function Experience: Demonstrated experience installing Full Arches.
- Knowledge Base: Strong foundational understanding of dental terminology, oral anatomy, dental lab workflows, and implant prosthetics.
- Soft Skills & Work Ethic: Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously while remaining a team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Travel Requirements: Must possess a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active car insurance. A clean driving record is required (DMV printout must be provided upon hiring).
Employment Terms & Conditions:
- Compensation: This is a salaried position. The negotiated salary will be structured based on an equivalent rate of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on verified experience and certifications.
- Travel Compensation: Comprehensive mileage reimbursement is provided for all work-related travel.
- Probationary Period: A standard 90-day probationary period applies, with the possibility of an extension based on performance. Upon successful completion of probation, employment transitions to at-will.
- Screenings: Mandatory background checks and drug screenings are required prior to employment.
