Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Reconstruction Carpenter / Restoration Technician to join our team. This position performs residential and light commercial repairs following water, fire, mold, and other property damage.Restoration work requires more than traditional new construction experience. Our carpenters work in existing and often occupied structures, identify practical repair solutions, and perform a variety of trades while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional jobsite. The ideal candidate is skilled, dependable, trustworthy, and takes pride in both craftsmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reconstruction and repairs following property damage
• Complete rough and finish carpentry, framing, drywall, texture, trim, doors, cabinetry, flooring, painting, and related repairs
• Read and follow project scopes, estimates, measurements, and work orders
• Identify unforeseen repairs or scope changes and communicate them to the Project Manager before proceeding
• Protect customers’ homes, belongings, and finished surfaces during construction
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and project managers
• Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable building practices

• Schedule: Dependable attendance and timely completion of assigned work
• Jobsite Management: Clean, organized, safe, and properly protected work areas
• Communication: Timely reporting of progress, changes, delays, and potential issues
• Customer Experience: Professional conduct and respect for customers and their property

Qualifications & Employment Requirements

• 3+ years of carpentry, remodeling, reconstruction, or related construction experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of residential construction and repair
• Experience with drywall, texture, trim, doors, cabinetry, flooring, painting, and general carpentry
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in existing structures
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV driving record are mandatory
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory and a condition of employment
• Must be eligible to operate company vehicles and travel to customer properties and jobsites
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials and perform physically demanding work
• Restoration industry experience is preferred but not required
