Cable Harness Assembler
Location: Anaheim, CA 92807
Duration: 6+ Months (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Steel-Toe Shoes: Required


Position Summary

seeking a skilled Cable Harness Assembler with 2-4 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in cable and wire harness assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience with crimping, soldering, wire preparation, and interpreting engineering drawings. Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

This position requires excellent attention to detail, precision workmanship, and the ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining high quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble cable and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Cut, strip, measure, and prepare wires to precise specifications.
  • Crimp small terminals and contacts using manual and pneumatic crimping tools.
  • Perform soldering operations following industry workmanship standards.
  • Assemble connectors, small motors, and electrical components.
  • Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Work in an ESD-controlled environment while following proper ESD handling procedures.
  • Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards and ISO 9001 quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals.


Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of cable or wire harness assembly experience.
  • Experience with cable preparation, crimping, and soldering.
  • Ability to use manual and pneumatic crimping tools.
  • Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and wiring schematics.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and experience working in ESD-controlled environments.
  • Experience measuring wires using rulers, calipers, or wire measuring tools.
  • Ability to perform continuity testing and basic electrical inspections.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while performing repetitive tasks.


Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working under ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience performing detailed assembly work under a microscope.
