Our client, a leading meat and seafood processing company, is seeking entry-level Facilities and Sanitation Workers to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant food processing environment. This is a temp-to-hire position (eligible for hire after 30 days).
Key Responsibilities:
" Clean and sanitize production areas, floors, machinery, and processing equipment
" Operate high-pressure hoses safely
" Handle approved cleaning chemicals according to safety protocols
" Ensure compliance with USDA and SQF food safety standards
" Monitor environmental conditions (cleanliness and temperature)
" Perform waste removal and disposal procedures
" Complete sanitation logs and documentation
Required Qualifications:
" Ability to work in cold and wet environments
" Comfort performing physical work and standing for extended periods
" Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
" Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:
" Previous experience in food processing or sanitation
" Familiarity with USDA/SQF standards
About the Role:
Contract duration: Temp-to-hire (eligible after 30 days)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 PM 4:30 AM
Location: Meat and Seafood Processing Facility Vernon, CA 90088
