Job DescriptionAre you an experienced automotive maintenance specialist looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're looking for a lube service technician to perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections at our high-volume shop. You'll build relationships with customers and advise them on essential maintenance needs. Our ideal candidate has some previous auto technician experience and the ability to learn the maintenance requirements of a variety of different automobiles. $23.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Oversee shop inventories by tracking the use of oil and parts and placing new orders for supplies as necessary
- Make sure all work areas and the shop floor are clean, and that all safety rules are observed
- Lubricate chassis components and check tire pressure and tread depth
- Keep detailed records of all repairs made and components replaced
- Advise customers on additional recommended services based on mileage and vehicle history
Qualifications:
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong customer service skills
- 1+ years of experience as a lube technician or related automotive experience desired
- Ability to operate vehicle lifts, tools, and other garage equipment safely
- High school diploma or equivalent
