Psychiatric Technician (LPT) | San Diego, CA | Evening Shift
\n
\n
Local W-2 contract at a state correctional facility in San Diego. Pay is $50.62/hr W-2, about $2,025 per week at 40 hours, with overtime paid under California rules.
\n
\n
The schedule is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, five days a week, on one of two rotations: Thursday to Monday, or Wednesday to Sunday. You’ll start with two weeks of training.
\n
You will support the facility’s mental health program. The work includes medication administration, patient observation and monitoring, documentation, and assisting with group and treatment activities.

Requirements

- Active California Psychiatric Technician license
- Current BLS/CPR
- Psych tech experience required; corrections or inpatient psych experience a plus
- Available for weekend shifts on either rotation
- Able to pass a background check with fingerprinting and pre-start health screenings
