Human Resources Onboarding Assistant - Great Hospital $28.00 per hour.
1. Effectively advises and educates managers on HR policies and procedures related to all HR Operations processes.
2. Effectively coaches and advises leaders on proper HR processes, training them on use of system and HR procedures.
3. Processes internal transfer including change of hour forms/PANS and Oracle internal transfers and promotions.
4. Manage new hire onboarding red carpet processes including launching, case management of overall clearance processes. Transition of external hire including HR/Payroll systems employee profile loading, document management. Acts as a liaison for all involved/processing of retirements, manages resignations, terminations for cause and reductions in force support processes.
5.Works with leaders on on-call availability; advises and follows process.
6.Prints and prepares employee files as requested in support of Employee Relations.
7.Manages data and transactions in HRIS and other HR databases.
8.Conducts personnel file reviews with manager/employee.
9.Supports survey HR file review for file prep.
10.Tracks interim assignments and ending thereof, including processing in Oracle.
11.Manages documents into document of records in Oracle as assigned.
12.Works conditions of employment reports for required licenses and certifications for organization including flu and TB.
13.Prepares corrective actions for conditions of employment. As requested may support corrective action for attendance / tardies.
14.Assists in providing support for office coverage as necessary.
15.Manages anecdotal notes and other employee documents, creates file when employees term.
16.Project Coordination as assigned.
17.May provide support to HRBP or HR leaders as requested.
18.Participates as a team member in quality improvement processes.
19.Maintain confidential employee records, ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
20.Provides guidance to employees and leaders related to all HR services.
21.Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets.
Critical thinking.
Willingness to learn, grow and expand knowledge of Human Resources.
Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
Must be highly computer literate.
Database and spreadsheet experience required.
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be highly organized and be able to effectively multi-task while managing multiple projects in a busy office environment essential.
Requires a high level of comfort with taking initiative and being accountable for team work and service excellence.
Must be familiar with an have a working understanding of standard federal, state laws and regulations pertaining to employment and EEO.
Must have a broad understanding of the principles of human resource management, common human resources, policies, procedures, and knowledge of one or more human resourse functional areas.
Education:
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of work and education equivalent to 6 years. College level coursework in Business or Human Resources preferred.
Licensure/Certification: PHR Preferred.
Experience: Three years of experience in a Human Resources support.
Three years administrative support experience with excellent customer service is required.
Previous onboarding experience preferred.
Project coordination preferred.
Previous hospital human resources experience preferred.
