This full-time Pharmacist position is available at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in the Sacramento area. The role is a contract opportunity for approximately 13 weeks with potential to transition to a permanent position (temp-to-hire). The start date is expected within 2 to 3 weeks.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting staff
- Managing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacist license
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably rehab or acute care
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
