Pay Rate
Local: $70 – $74/hour
Traveler: $75 – $77/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

Ability to work the stated schedule and meet weekend and holiday requirements.
Must be available to work 3 out of 5 major holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare the IR suite, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
Operate and monitor imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy.
Prepare patients by verifying identification, reviewing documentation, and explaining procedural steps.
Position patients appropriately and maintain patient comfort and safety.
Follow radiation safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.
Monitor equipment functionality and report technical issues.
Maintain sterile technique and comply with infection prevention and control standards.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and equipment records.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist with post-procedure patient transfer and prepare the procedure room for the next case.
