Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Class A Driver role based out of Southern California (preferably High Desert Area) The driver will operate Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to local and regional destinations, following all federal, state, and company regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and complying with DOT and safety standards. The role involves communicating with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules, routes, and delivery updates. Drivers are expected to represent Angus Transportation, Inc. professionally, provide courteous service at pickup and delivery locations, and report any equipment or route issues promptly.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated Truck Driving experience with safe operation of commercial vehicles
- Valid CDL Class A license with 2+ years verifiable experience

- and a clean driving record. Minimum age 23.
- Ability to operate and manage Truck equipment, including inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safety procedures
- Ability to lift and move freight as needed and meet physical requirements of the role
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and adherence to route and paperwork requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in freight or logistics preferred
