📚 WE’RE HIRING — PART-TIME TUTOR / EDUCATOR

Nourished Minds Mentorship & Tutoring is growing! We’re looking for a passionate educator to join our team in Modesto, CA.
\n
\n
We’re looking for someone who:
\n
• Is a credentialed teacher or experienced educator
\n
• Has experience with Science of Reading–aligned instruction
\n
• Understands explicit, systematic phonics and foundational literacy instruction
\n
• Is comfortable teaching K–5 Math & English/ELA
\n
• Can work one-on-one and with small groups
\n
• Uses questioning, modeling, and guided practice rather than simply giving students answers
\n
• Is patient, encouraging, and able to build strong relationships with students
\n
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Is willing to learn new curricula, interventions, and instructional approaches
\n
• Is passionate about helping students build academic skills, confidence, and independence
\n
\n
Position Details:

📍 In-person — Modesto, CA
\n
🕒 Part-time, primarily after-school hours, build your own schedule
\n
💰 Starting at $25/hour for instructional tutoring time
\n
📈 Opportunity to build a consistent student caseload as we grow
\n
\n
At Nourished Minds, we believe tutoring should be individualized, evidence-informed, and built around each student’s needs. We’re looking for an educator who wants to understand why a student is struggling and provide intentional instruction that helps them grow.
