Construction Manager – Multifamily Residential
Bay Area, CA | Sebastopol OR San Ramon
This builder is growing rapidly across Northern California and is seeking experienced Construction Managers with multifamily experience to join the team. We currently have two openings in the Bay Area, with opportunities in Sebastopol and San Ramon.
These are hands-on roles for experienced construction professionals who know how to manage multifamily projects, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain schedules, and deliver quality homes on time.
What You'll Do
- Manage multifamily residential construction from start through completion
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners
- Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are met
- Monitor construction quality and ensure work is completed to company standards
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Sales and Customer Relations
- Build strong working relationships with existing subcontractors and vendors
- Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
- Manage multiple trades and activities while maintaining a safe, organized jobsite
- Work collaboratively with the project team to deliver homes on schedule and to a high standard
- Manage one project at a time, with construction organized in blocks of approximately 5–6 homes
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of residential construction experience
- Multifamily residential construction experience is required
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor management
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a project and drive it forward
- Reliable, steady, and professional under pressure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
