Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel opportunity in Sonora, California. Start date: 09/14/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,362-$1,472 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for assigned patients under the supervision of an RN or MD, following established policy and the nursing process.
- Perform routine visits and assessments, contribute to planning and provision of patient care.
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, wound care, sterile dressings) as trained.
- Assist in developing and implementing a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient.
- Coordinate care using appropriate organizational and reporting systems; document and communicate changes to the care team.
- Support patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols; maintain neatness and cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned by agency leadership and location needs.

Requirements
- Licensure: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice (California) is required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required; Arrhythmia certification preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Additional: EPIC experience and hospice experience preferred; able to work weekends and 3 weekdays; valid driver’s license preferred; ability to work in a hospital/short-term acute care setting.
