The Work
\n
· Manage schedules, clients, and workload
\n
· Attend meetings with clients and take diligent notes
\n
· Attend job site walks to observe existing conditions and construction progress
\n
· Design and manage mechanical engineering projects from conceptual design through construction
\n

- Design and develop mechanical systems using Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD
- Design building HVAC, medium and low-pressure air distribution, hydronic and control systems
\n
\n
\n
· Perform mechanical engineering calculations including cooling, heating, ventilation and exhaust
\n
· All other tasks assigned.
\n
\n
The Skills
\n
· AutoCAD, Revit, and Design Master
\n
- \n
- Bluebeam Revu
- ComCheck, Energy Pro, or other energy code compliance tools
\n
\n
\n
· Codes & Standards including the CBC, CMC, CPC, CFC, CGC, IES, NFPA, & ADA
\n
· Utility standards including SDG&E, SCE, PG&E, etc.
\n
· Technical writing including Basis of Designs and specifications
\n
· Construction administration including RFI’s and submittal reviews
\n
\n
The Qualifications
\n
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
\n
· Professional Engineering License desired
\n
· 5-years of experience in the MEP industry
\n
· Licensed to drive in CA
\n
\n
The Work Environment
\n
- \n
- Hybrid 2-days a week in office
- Flexible hours with start times between 7:00am-9:00am each day
- Fast-paced environment that requires collaboration across departments
- Travel may be required to job sites

The Compensation:
\n
· $80,000-$130,000 depending on experience
\n
\n
The Physical Requirements:
\n
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently sits at a desk, working on a keyboard or mouse.
\n

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
\n
\n
· Must be able to climb ladders and survey construction sites.
\n
- \n
- Occasionally moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
