Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Commercial Facilities | Field Operations | Multi-Site Services
Location: Ontario, CA
Salary: $150,000 – $185,000 DOE
Our client is a rapidly growing commercial construction and facilities maintenance company seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner directly with ownership and help lead the organization's next phase of growth.
This executive will oversee day-to-day operations while driving operational excellence, financial performance, leadership development, and scalable business processes across a multi-state service organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead multi-site field operations and service teams.
- Drive P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational profitability.
- Build and improve operational processes, KPIs, and accountability across departments.
- Develop and mentor managers while strengthening organizational culture.
- Partner with ownership to execute strategic growth initiatives.
- Oversee service delivery, fleet operations, inventory, procurement, and resource planning.
- Support preventative maintenance, repair, restoration, and construction service operations.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- Proven P&L ownership with responsibility for operational and financial performance.
- Experience leading multi-site field service, facilities maintenance, commercial construction, petroleum services, or similar service-based organizations.
- Understanding of convenience stores, fuel stations, national retail accounts, commercial facilities, or related service environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success building teams, improving processes, implementing KPIs, and developing leaders.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced education is a plus.
