Job DescriptionKids in Motion Pediatric Therapy located in Torrance, CA is currently seeking an Intake Coordinator with an anticipated start date as soon as possible. The initial position is temporary to cover a Maternity Leave and is anticipated to extend from mid October to mid April, with the potential to become a permanent position with the Admin Team, in the same role or potentially a different role.
The job responsibilities for the initial position include:
- Completing insurance verifications and determination of available benefits for the services being requested.
- Calculating and providing share of cost information.
- Corresponding with families throughout the Intake Process as needed
Candidates that meet ALL of the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
- Able to demonstrate the understanding of insurance benefits information including deductible, copayment, co-insurance, out of pocket max, and exclusions.
- Experience and proficiency with EMR systems and/or outpatient medical office is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management.
