A lovely family in Valley Village is seeking a part-time nanny for their energetic 2-year-old for an immediate start. Care is needed four weekdays per week (candidate’s choice), with the option to work either 9am–12pm or 2:30pm–5:30pm (also based on the candidate’s preference). The position is expected to last 3–4 months until the child begins preschool, with the potential to extend for up to 16 months.
- Start date: Immediate
- Length of Position: 3-4 months, possibility to extend
- Schedule: 4 weekdays per week – 9am-12pm or 2:30pm-5:30pm
- Compensation: $30 per hour
Responsibilities
- Diaper changing
- Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities
- Driving the child to local outings, including the park
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record & valid auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle is a plus, but not required
Compensation + BenefitsThis position pays $30 per hour, and the family is looking for 12 hours of care per week.
