Job DescriptionCNC Machinist (2nd Shift) — Temp-to-Hire (South Bay)
Company: Aerospace manufacturing company providing global manufacturing/engineering services and engineered structural solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.
Location: South Bay (On-site; Gardena area)
Shift: 2nd Shift — 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM (plus OT)
Pay: $25.00/hr + 10% shift differential (W2)
Job Summary
Operate and set up multi-axis CNC equipment to machine production parts to blueprint/specification.
What You’ll Do
- Operate multi-axis machines including vertical/gantry/horizontal rotary (4th axis) mills, CNC lathes/routers, and/or 5-axis core mills
- Set up machines, adjust offsets, and run production parts using furnished jigs/fixtures
- Independently select proper tooling for setup and operation
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify parts conform to prints/specs
- Perform work using a variety of manual/automatic machines as needed
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with CNC multi-axis machines, CNC lathes/routers, and/or 5-axis equipment
- Experience with manual machining/honing/grinding equipment
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and good judgment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to work overtime as needed
