Job Description

Job DescriptionAre you a people-person who enjoys helping others and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in healthcare?

Salomon Audiology is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Patient Advocate Coach (PAC) to join our growing team.

This is an entry-level, patient-facing position and a great opportunity for someone interested in healthcare, audiology, patient care, or simply building a career where you can make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

What is a Patient Advocate Coach?

Our Patient Advocate Coaches work side-by-side with our audiologists and help support patients throughout their hearing healthcare journey.

You'll have the opportunity to interact directly with patients while learning about hearing healthcare and supporting our clinical team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting audiologists during clinic and patient-care days
  • Greeting patients and assisting with patient intake
  • Helping triage patient questions and needs
  • Cleaning and performing basic maintenance on hearing aids
  • Providing general patient support and education
  • Helping maintain an organized and efficient clinic
  • Assisting with basic administrative and office responsibilities
  • Supporting our team at retirement and assisted living communities

Prior audiology experience is not required. We will train the right person.

A Hybrid + Mobile Position

This is not a work-from-home hybrid position.

Your work location will vary depending on the day's patient schedule. Some days will be spent working in our offices, while others may involve traveling to retirement and assisted living communities where our audiologists provide on-site hearing healthcare.

Our PAC will primarily support:

West Covina, CA
San Bernardino, CA
Our partner retirement and assisted living communities throughout the surrounding areas

Because travel is an important part of this position, candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be comfortable driving between locations.

Eligible work-related travel is reimbursed.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, approximately 3 days per week.

We're looking for someone who has enough flexibility to work at different clinic and community locations depending on the patient schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

$22–$25/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits include:

  • Healthcare benefits after a 90-day probationary period
  • Eligible mileage/travel reimbursement
  • 401(k) plan
  • Hands-on training and mentorship
  • Direct experience working alongside audiologists
  • Meaningful face-to-face patient interaction
  • Opportunities for professional growth and upward mobility within Salomon Audiology

Who Would Be a Great Fit?

You may be a great fit if you are:

  • Compassionate and genuinely enjoy helping people
  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with patients
  • Patient and comfortable working with older adults
  • Dependable, punctual, and organized
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • Able to take initiative while also working as part of a team
  • Comfortable driving between multiple work locations
  • Interested in healthcare and eager to learn

Experience in healthcare, customer service, hospitality, caregiving, or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability, communication skills, and willingness to learn.

Interested?

We'd love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction telling us why you're interested in the Patient Advocate Coach position and what makes you a great fit for working directly with patients.

Join Salomon Audiology and help us make better hearing—and better quality of life—more accessible to the communities we serve.
