Job Summary
We are seeking a Purchaser to join our HVAC wholesale team! As a Purchaser, you will be working to place orders, create returns, and assisting in inventory management. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed, and an understanding of supply chain procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take supply requests from departments, determining need
• Place orders, follow up on delays, and maintain strong working relationships with vendors
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering an appropriate amount of product before it is at critical levels
• Manage vendor contracts, as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position desired
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of the supply chain, and common issues surrounding it, desired
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
