Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Location: Danville, CA 94506
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $48 - $50/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

-> Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT).
Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
Document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

-> Qualifications

Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute, or Post-Acute Care preferred.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
CPR/BLS certification preferred.
