EVENT SETUP CREW
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Event Setup Crew members to assist with the setup, breakdown, and preparation of event venues. Associates will work as part of a team to ensure tents, stages, lighting, tables, chairs, and other event equipment are properly positioned and ready for events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down tents, stages, tables, chairs, lighting, and other event equipment.
- Load, unload, move, and organize event materials and equipment.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor throughout the shift.
- Assist with arranging event spaces according to setup plans and instructions.
- Safely move equipment, furniture, and materials throughout the venue.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet event setup and breakdown deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
- Previous event setup, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Associates must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and working extended shifts of 8–12 hours.
