Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP-CCC credentials
- Prior experience in school environments, especially with middle and high school populations, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of a broad spectrum of speech-related services, including direct therapy, IEP participation, and evaluations/assessments
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and schedules efficiently
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech-language therapy to students across middle and high school grade levels
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and communication strengths and challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social communication
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in a timely manner
- Engage with families to support students’ goals and ensure a holistic approach to care
