Account Services Representative Openings in Oceanside!
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 100% Onsite
Pay: $17.50–$19.00/hr DOE (flexible within range)
Position Summary
We’re hiring an Account Services Representative to support day-to-day customer account servicing and clerical operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and comfort working across email/fax/mail workflows in a fast-paced office environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Respond to consumer debt verification requests
- Identify, scan, and document bankruptcy notices
- Update and maintain consumer account information
- Provide account information to customers as needed
- Distribute incoming consumer emails, faxes, and payment notices
- Perform skip tracing activities
- Provide backup coverage for the receptionist (as needed)
- Process outgoing company mail
- Retrieve and drop off mail at the post office
- Assist with daily/weekly/monthly reporting for various departments
- Review correspondence, determine proper handling, and initiate responses
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Clerical/administrative assistant experience (preferred)
- Reception/phone experience (highly desirable)
