Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist this school year! A talented SLP-CCC is needed to provide coverage during a maternity leave from November 2 through February 29. Working with a collaborative educational team, you’ll facilitate meaningful growth for students while applying your expertise in communication disorders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (California)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy in accordance with IEPs
- Document progress notes and maintain accurate case files
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Advise teachers and families on strategies to support student development
