We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Associate to support receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping operations. The role ensures accurate material handling, inventory control, and timely distribution of goods while following safety standards and shipping requirements. The ideal candidate has experience using warehouse systems, material handling equipment, and inventory processes.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods and verify material numbers, descriptions, quantities, and shipping documents.
- Inspect shipments for visible damage and document discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, hand-guided industrial trucks, and material handling equipment safely.
- Record transactions in warehouse/data processing systems.
- Perform storage, picking, staging, inventory control, stock maintenance, and cycle counts.
- Assemble, package, and verify shipments for accuracy.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods and shipping instructions.
- Transport materials within facility premises while following safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 2-year vocational training with up to 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience.
- Knowledge of inventory management, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, and stock control.
- Experience with warehouse management/data processing systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
