Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care on a medical-surgical unit, working within a team of registered nurses and reporting to the nurse manager. This role will primarily support night shifts while promoting safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care.
13 Week Contract with the option to extend
Shift: 6 pm - 630 am

Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatments, and care plans.
- Coordinate care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Apply infection prevention practices.
- Support discharge planning and respond effectively to emergencies.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of professional nursing experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with patient assessment, clinical documentation, medication administration, and care planning.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and infection control practices.
- Strong critical-thinking, patient-education, and interdisciplinary-collaboration skills.
