- Provides perioperative nursing care with responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Requirements

- Active California RN license
- BLS required
- Must demonstrate clinical competency appropriate to the assigned patient population
- BSN, MSN, or current RN-to-BSN enrollment preferred

Role / Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Complete patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Identify high-risk patients and initiate appropriate interventions
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Make appropriate referrals and coordinate continuity of care
- May provide patient care and clinical leadership as needed

Team Lead Responsibilities – If Assigned
\n
- \n
- Serve as a clinical resource, role model, and mentor for nursing staff
- Coordinate staffing assignments, admissions, transfers, breaks, and patient flow
- Support preceptors, new employees, and float staff
- Coordinate high-risk/emergent situations and communicate critical issues to nursing leadership
- Ensure collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other departments
- Assist with staffing decisions, equipment checks, documentation issues, and appropriate use of resources
