Connect Staffing is hiring a Gate Attendant for a manufacturing plant in Riverside, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18.00/hr. In this role, you will control access at the facility gate, verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors, and maintain accurate entry and exit logs.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian access at the assigned gate or entry point of a manufacturing facility.
- Verify identification, badges, permits, or credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing vehicles, visitors, and deliveries.
- Direct vendors, visitors, and deliveries to the appropriate areas within the facility.
- Report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to supervisors or security personnel.
- Complete entry records, inspection reports, and required shift documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate written and digital records.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working at a manufacturing, industrial, or construction site gate or checkpoint.
- Familiarity with visitor management systems or basic entry-log software.
- Experience communicating with vendors, contractors, and delivery drivers.
- Ability to enforce access policies professionally and de-escalate situations calmly.
- Previous experience in gate operations, security, customer service, or a similar access-control role.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout an entire shift, including while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pre-Employment Requirements

- Must communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Steel-toed work boots required (employee-provided).
