Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Install and maintain conduits, panels, circuit breakers, and electrical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine electrical inspections.
- Use electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve system issues.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and applicable electrical codes.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience as an industrial or commercial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Experience using electrical testing tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical work in industrial environments.
- Relevant electrical certifications or licenses are a plus.
