Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential required
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
- Experience designing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse needs
- Familiarity with assessment tools and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Positive approach and dedication to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with varying abilities
- Develop and maintain IEPs, progress reports, and required documentation
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional growth
- Work closely with families, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and training as needed
