Job DescriptionInventory ClerkLocation: San Fernando Valley, CA
Pay Rate: $18.50–$19.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and organize incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
- Count and verify inventory to help ensure stock records are accurate.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with scheduled physical inventory.
- Compare materials against purchase orders, work orders, and internal records.
- Report shortages, damaged items, or inventory concerns to the supervisor.
- Enter inventory updates and transactions into the system accurately.
- Pull, stage, and issue materials for production, shipping, and other departments.
- Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse support as needed.
- Follow all company safety rules and warehouse procedures.
- Use pallet jacks or forklifts when properly trained and authorized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, stockroom, receiving, or material handling preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to count and track materials correctly.
- Ability to read labels, part numbers, inventory reports, purchase orders, and work orders.
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Some indoor and outdoor work may be required based on business needs.
