We are looking to hire a Plant Manager in the city of Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity to join a Manufacturing Company!
Salary range:: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Job Overview We are seeking an elite, highly technical Plant Manager to lead our aerospace manufacturing facility. This role requires a unique blend of executive plant leadership and deep, hands-on expertise in advanced CNC Machining. You would oversee production, lead machining teams, and optimize workflows for high precision aerospace components. Job Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities
- Manage daily operations, safety, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- Act as the technical expert for multi-axis CNC machines, troubleshooting complex machining and programming issues.
- Apply Lean principles to reduce setup times and maximize machine utilization
- Lead and mentor manufacturing engineers, CNC programmers and operators
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of nonconformance’s to products, processes and the quality system.
- Troubleshoot & improve various manufacturing processes
- Visit suppliers to correct or discuss non-conformances or prevent future problems from occurring.
- Initiate cost savings ideas within the manufacturing process.
- Follow instructions of related QMS procedures and Work Instructions.
- Ensure total compliance with AS9100 and strict aerospace standards.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years’+ manufacturing experience, directly production related within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze and interpret customer, government or industry standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and customers.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing problems.
- Computer literate
