Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Technician 2's for a contract opportunity in Oxnard, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High School Diploma and 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in
- a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- US Citizen or Naturalized Certificate.
- Drawing interpretation.
- Adhesive Bonding.
- Silicone Bonding.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for a Manufacturing Technician 2 to support our Onesat department. As a member of the OneSat department you'll get to work in the FSA/KSB work cell.
Responsibilities:
Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Trimming and Cleaning.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
9/80 workweek. This position will be on-site in Oxnard, CA.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
