High Reach Forklift Operator – Cold/Freezer Warehouse
We are currently hiring an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This position requires working in a cold/freezer environment and operating High Reach equipment to safely move, store, and retrieve products throughout the facility.
Schedule
- Morning Shift
- Sunday – Thursday
- Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed
- Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity
Responsibilities
- Safely operate High Reach Forklifts (Raymond and/or Crown)
- Move, stack, replenish, and retrieve pallets from high-level racking
- Load, unload, and transport products throughout the warehouse
- Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform daily forklift inspections before operating equipment
- Assist with inventory, shipping, receiving, and product movement
- Follow all warehouse, OSHA, and forklift safety procedures
- Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Work safely and efficiently in cold and freezer temperatures
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of RECENT High Reach Forklift experience REQUIRED
- Experience operating Raymond and/or Crown High Reach equipment
- Must be comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse and forklift safety procedures
- Ability to safely maneuver pallets in high racking and tight warehouse spaces
- Ability to lift and handle materials as required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday
- Must be available for overtime and weekends when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in refrigerated, freezer, food distribution, or cold-storage warehouses
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Shipping, receiving, inventory, or order-picking experience
Important: This is an experienced High Reach Forklift position. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent High Reach experience. Applicants without recent High Reach experience may not be considered.
