An automotive rental provider in Fontana, CA is actively seeking a self-motivated Controller to join their team! In this role, you will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company, while overseeing the accounting team and AR/AP. They are looking for someone with 3-5 years of blended controller and management experience who can lead a team effectively. The company has a great culture where they do regular team building activities, including weekly breakfasts, coffee runs and other celebrations. You can look forward to a great salary, ample time off and so much more!Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 8 direct reports
- Oversee accounting team and AR/AP functions
- Work closely with the Finance team
- Collaborate with the Insurance Risk team
- Handle day-to-day financial operations, including payroll entries and large data entry when necessary
- Ensure the team's development and growth
- Foster a positive and motivating work culture
- Exhibit independent leadership and emotional intelligence
- Take and implement feedback effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business is required
- 3-5 years of experience as a Controller or Manager
- Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting principles
- Ethical and high integrity
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership and motivation abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
