Senior Litigation Paralegal – Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90067 (Century City)
We are partnering with an established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Century City to hire an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team.
The firm handles complex, high-value personal injury litigation throughout California, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, rideshare matters, and other serious injury claims.
This is a hands-on position for a paralegal who understands California litigation procedure and is comfortable taking ownership of cases, deadlines, filings, discovery, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare complaints, discovery, deposition notices, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
- Manage court filings, service, case calendars, statutes of limitation, and litigation deadlines
- Coordinate discovery, depositions, hearings, witnesses, experts, and other case-related matters
- Support attorneys with case preparation, settlements, mediations, and trials
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and outside vendors
- Proactively identify deadlines and procedural issues to keep cases moving
- Provide guidance and delegate work to legal support staff as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience required; around 5+ years preferred
- Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of California civil litigation, discovery, calendaring, and court filing procedures
- Hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and deposition preparation
- Strong organizational and deadline-management skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required
