Title: Research Associate II
Contract: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2
Shift: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; flexible schedule, including 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Location: 480 Forbes Blvd, 3rd Floor, South San Francisco, CA 94080
Job Summary:
Seeking a Research Associate II to support nonclinical bioanalytical activities in GLP and non-GLP environments.
Responsibilities:
- Extract DNA, RNA, and protein from animal tissue.
- Perform qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, MSD, Western blot, and related assays.
- Analyze and QC nonclinical samples and data.
- Maintain SOPs, study documentation, and analysis plans.
- Train and support laboratory analysts.
Requirements:
- BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- 3+ years of bioanalytical/molecular biology laboratory experience.
- Hands-on qPCR/ddPCR and ELISA or MSD experience.
- Strong SOP, GDP, documentation, and data-analysis skills.
Preferred: GLP toxicology/IND-enabling studies, gene therapy/biologics, assay automation, LIMS/ELN, GraphPad Prism, JMP, or Excel experience.
