Rubbercraft is seeking a Quality Intern to support our Quality and Engineering teams while gaining hands-on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for a current college student or recent graduate pursuing a career in quality, manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering.

Our team designs and manufactures precision-molded seals, gaskets, and custom rubber components that perform in the most demanding environments. Internship Details: This internship is expected to begin in mid-September and run approximately 12–16 weeks, working part-time, up to 30 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Quality and Engineering teams on day-to-day activities and special projects.
  • Assist with research, data collection, analysis, documentation, and maintenance of quality records.
  • Provide support for manufacturing, testing, quality, and design engineering activities.
  • Assist with quality-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of reports, databases, files, and documentation.
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

Job Specifications

Education: High school diploma/GED required. Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a changing environment.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and solve straightforward problems.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Interest in quality, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
