Title: Process Engineering Technician
Location: Milpitas, CA
Hire Type: Contract to hire
Shift : 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $32/h

OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Technician to support manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with cross-functional teams, and helping drive production processes forward.Rather than being heavily focused on equipment maintenance, this position serves as a key link between engineering, operations, and production teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, and comfortable communicating technical information in a way that is easy for others to understand.Key Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing processes and help ensure production runs efficiently.
  • Act as a liaison between multiple departments, communicating technical information clearly.
  • Monitor processes, identify issues, and proactively report concerns or opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving to keep production moving.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and contamination control requirements.
  • Learn new processes and procedures quickly while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Utilize computer systems and software to document activities and support production operations.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to improve overall process performance.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and following gowning procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to ask questions.
  • Process-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software (Windows, Linux, or similar operating systems).
  • Open to training and eager to learn new technologies and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to adapt in an environment where processes may evolve over time.
