Laundry Helper – 0.4 Every Other Weekend

- Shift: Day 3x7-Hour (08:00 - 15:30)

SUMMARY/DUTIES:
- The Laundry Helper supports linen operations at Sutter Roseville Medical Center by collecting, transporting, stocking, and distributing clean and soiled linen throughout the hospital
- Responsibilities include maintaining linen levels, replenishing assigned areas, organizing storage locations, handling linen carts, and responding to department needs while following sanitation, infection prevention, and safety procedures. This is a 0.4 onsite position in a patient-care facility. The confirmed schedule is AM Shift every other weekend
- The Laundry Helper will support weekend linen workflows and help ensure hospital departments maintain consistent access to clean linen and organized linen service coverage
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1+ years of experience in linen services, laundry, environmental services, or a similar support role
- Ability to work the confirmed AM Shift every other weekend
- Experience with collecting, sorting, transporting, stocking, and distributing linen
- Ability to work onsite in an acute-care hospital environment
- Ability to safely handle linen carts and perform routine physical tasks
- Ability to follow infection prevention, sanitation, safety, and linen-handling procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage assigned linen service responsibilities
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with linen or laundry services in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Experience with hospital linen distribution and inventory workflows
- Familiarity with infection prevention practices for clean and soiled linen
- Ability to independently prioritize weekend linen service needs
