Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Regional Supply Chain Inbound Transportation Manager to support and oversee supply chain and transportation operations across 2-3 locations.
This role will focus on operational performance, movement of goods through the supply network, process improvement, KPI management, data analysis, and collaboration with Logistics, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Operations, and other business partners.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations who can analyze performance, identify operational challenges, and develop solutions that improve service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support SCIT operations across assigned locations or region
- Monitor operational performance and ensure consistent processes across facilities
- Track and report department KPIs, identify performance gaps, and develop corrective actions
- Analyze transportation and supply-chain activity to identify delays, service issues, capacity concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Operations, and other departments to improve product flow and operational performance
- Review operational data and provide recommendations based on trends and performance
- Help identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes
- Support regional teams in resolving operational and transportation-related challenges
- Promote best practices and accountability across assigned locations
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and business partners
- Use data to support operational decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with planning and resource optimization to support customer service expectations
These areas closely follow the existing WCD supply-chain leadership responsibilities around KPI reporting, analyzing operational constraints, cost improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and leading best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or related operations
- Experience managing teams and working across multiple departments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate operational data into actionable recommendations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with warehouse, logistics, supply-chain, or operational systems
- Experience with WMS and/or similar operational systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
- Continuous improvement or Kaizen experience is a plus
The existing WCD description specifically calls for strong analytical ability, advanced Excel, RMS/WMS knowledge, leadership communication, data analysis, forecasting, and a bachelor's degree as preferred rather than required.
What We're Looking For
The strongest candidate will have experience leading transportation or supply-chain operations, managing performance through KPIs, identifying operational issues, and working across multiple departments to improve efficiency and service.
Experience supporting multiple locations, regional operations, transportation teams, carriers, or distribution centers is highly desirable.
Work Environment
This position operates within a distribution-center/supply-chain environment and may require time within warehouse facilities with varying temperatures.
