Job Description
ALL STAR CONSTRUCTION is hiring a motivated, reliable Full-Time Home Improvement Salesperson to generate new business, meet with homeowners, and close sales for residential remodeling and construction projects.
We specialize in kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, ADU construction, garage conversions, room additions, home renovations, and new construction.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, sales experience, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, prospecting, and outreach.
- Respond to company-provided leads and customer inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and meet homeowners to discuss their construction projects.
- Present company-approved estimates and proposals.
- Follow up with potential customers and close sales.
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up notes.
- Coordinate with the company owner regarding pricing, discounts, project scope, and scheduling.
- Develop customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Meet company sales goals and performance expectations.
Requirements
- Active California CSLB Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) registration required.
- Previous experience in home improvement, remodeling, construction, or related sales preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation for customer appointments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Basic computer and customer relationship management (CRM) skills preferred.
Schedule and Compensation
- Employment: Full-Time, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Base Pay: $20 per hour.
- Commission: Additional 3% of qualifying project sale prices.
- Commission applies to eligible self-generated and company-provided leads under a written commission agreement.
- Commission eligibility and payment depend on the customer's payment and applicable contract cancellation conditions, as defined in the written agreement and subject to California law.
- Paid overtime as required by California law.
- Required business expenses reimbursed under company policy and applicable law.
- Paid sick leave and other legally required benefits.
Earning Potential
- Base salary: Approximately $41,600 annually, based on 40 hours per week and 52 paid weeks.
- Additional uncapped commission opportunities based on qualifying sales.
- Example: Closing a $50,000 qualifying remodeling project earns $1,500 in commission, subject to the written commission agreement.
